James Rodriguez, known in the urban world as Roddy Rod “da LoBo BoY,” he’s an Urban / Tropical genre artist. Out of Bayamon, PR and raised in the United States. His passion for music began at an early age and it was not until shortly before completing his studies in sound engineering at Full Sail University in Orlando, Florida in November 2010 that he got the opportunity to work with the recognized producer Nico Canada, who produced what would be his first music video, entitled “Gangster Fina.”

In December 2010 he began working with legendary producer Alex Gargolas, who was impressed by his talent and gave him the opportunity and introduced Roddy Rod to the world with the hit song “Nadie Mas Que Tu.Since then Roddy Rod has worked on Music that has been capturing the attention of listeners in Latin America. With songs such as “Perreito Lento” with Edwin Rosa known as Ñengo Flow and many others. In addition to being invited to perfom at Manhattan Lounge to celebrate the birthday of Alex Gargolas, Roddy Rod has performed in countries such as the Dominican Republic, England and Norway, where he has shared the stage with artists like: La Materialista, Milka, Farruko, Arcangel, the “American Idol” Chris Medina among others and has been invited on TV shows such as “100 Porciento Urbano “Manuel and Hermes (2012)
In October 2011, Producer Arnaldo Santos, better known as Naldo, called Roddy Rod to invite him to work on a song for his album entitled “Sangre Nueva 2” with his song “Mejores Amigos” that has become an anthem for many in Latin America.

In March 2012, an Austin, Texas radio station, 106.5 FM Keilah Radio, with more than 16,000 listeners daily called Roddy Rod to Allow them to add his song “Dia de Emocion” into their regular programming.
In March 2013 “Roddy Rod da LoBo BoY” released his first album “Conoceme” under the label RR MUSIK, Inc. An album introduced by worldwide hit producer “Alex Gargolas”

In his short career he has won the hearts of thousands of fans through his music. He still has many more goals to achieve and a great future ahead.
